Chocolate Brownies

Serves: 16 (scaled from 16)

Ingredients:

2 tsp vanilla extract
225 g butter
3 large egg
200 g sugar
225 g chocolate
100 g walnuts
150 g ground almonds

Method

Preheat the oven to 170 C. Melt the chocolate and butter, mix in vanilla and sugar, let it cool a little.
Beat the eggs into the pan with the ground almonds and chopped walnuts.
Bake in 9 in square tin 25 to 30 mins.

Notes

Use dark chocolate, 70 pc cocoa solids or more
