Chocolate Brownie Cake

Serves: 6 (scaled from 6)


1 tsp vanilla extract
75 g brown sugar
100 g butter
2 egg
100 g plain flour
125 g chocolate
175 g caster sugar
1 tbsp golden syrup
0.5 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp cocoa powder


Oven to 180 C. Grease and line 20 cm tin.

Melt butter, caster sugar, brown sugar, chocolate, golden syrup in a pan.
Add to whisked eggs and other ingredients.

Bake 25-30 mins.


Good served with cream. Better if cooled and kept overnight in fridge.
