Rocks and roots

We really enjoyed Rostrevor, though it was pretty sunny when we visited!

The climb is quite long, but varied and scenic - at one point taking you to a corner that feels like you're right above the sea. We opted for the red descent and then took the black options. These were more like a hard red - bigger drop offs etc rather than any mental rock ladders. It finishes with some swoopy singletrck bck to the start. We had intedned to do another loop up to ride the black descent but were thoroughly knackered by then!

There's bike hire and a nice cafe on site, as well as an uplift service for some of the hard looking downhill trails.

Rating: 3, "Good riding, worth travelling to".
