Rocks and roots

Stanage

Stanage from the top all the way down past the Plantation. You think once you've gone past the edge it'll get dull, but the big rocks just keep coming. And not loose like most Peak descents. Can be liked in a cunning figure of eight with Blacka Hall and the doubletrack across Houndkirk Moor, and the cafe at the Alpaca centre in Ringinglow.

Rating: 3, "Good riding, worth travelling to".
